A creativebehind the work.
I’m Godson Leon — a multidisciplinary creative based in Arusha, Tanzania.
My work sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, technology, and visual communication. I work across graphic design, branding, photography, videography, motion graphics, and digital experiences.

More than makingthings look good.
For me, design is about communication.
A strong visual should do more than look good. It should help people understand something, feel something, remember something, or take action.
Over the years, I’ve worked on creative projects across organisations, brands, events, hospitality, tourism, real estate, and development-focused initiatives.
That range has taught me to approach every project differently. A campaign needs a different visual language from a brand identity. A documentary needs a different approach from a social media reel. A real estate project needs a different story from an NGO report.
The common thread is simple: understand the message, find the story, and build the right visual expression around it.
Experience acrossdisciplines
My professional work includes hands-on creative production in photography, videography, graphic design, branding, digital communications, and multimedia storytelling.
I currently work in a communications and multimedia environment at MS TCDC in Arusha, creating visual content that supports programmes, campaigns, events, learning initiatives, and institutional communication.
I also work independently with businesses, organisations, and individuals on creative projects.

How I work
Understand
I start by understanding the purpose, audience, context, and story behind the project.
Explore
I develop visual directions, references, ideas, and concepts that fit the message and the audience.
Create
I move from concept to production — designing, shooting, filming, editing, animating, or building whatever the project requires.
Refine
The final work is polished, tested, and prepared for the platforms and formats where it will actually be used.
Good ideas deservegood execution.
I’m always interested in working on projects where creativity can make a real difference — whether that means building a brand from scratch, telling a story through film, documenting a place, or making complex information easier to understand.
